During my term as a Member of the European Parliament, I took responsibility for offsetting my ecological footprint. After an unsatisfactory experience with reforestation projects, I was motivated to create an effective and transparent commercial solution.

On 25 September, at the invitation of the Coimbra Region Intermunicipal Association (CIM), BIO4EST presented its business project at HIESE to 20 participants from Portugal, Finland, Poland and Greece, as part of the European FISSH project – Food, Innovation for Sustainability and Smart Horizons, funded by Interreg Europe.
On 23 September, BIO4EST took part in the second edition of XISTO Talks, on the theme of “Leading in Times of Crisis and Uncertainty”, at the Lousã Municipal Theatre. The event focused on the business experiences of various national leaders, including Paulo Lobo of Socigene and Ricardo Pereira, founder of PHC Software, amongst others.
